History
Early Life
Karyu is the older of two sons in his family, being born in Yamaguchi on December 7th, 1978. Karyu consistently would get in trouble with either school administration or with his parents who he would constantly argue with at home. However, during middle school his father gave Karyu an electric guitar, and taught him how to play too; this being the start of Karyu's interest in music. While in high school he started to search for band mates, and eventually formed the short lived band Dieur Mind. The band recorded one demo tape called Message, but by then Karyu, who at the time used the stage name Yoshitaka, was threatening to disband. On Dieur Mind's last tour Karyu randomly met ZERO and his band at that time. After dining together they had found they shared the same goals. Later Karyu went and saw Le'Viel, Hizumi and Tsukasa's band at the time. Karyu was so impressed by there performance at the time he had asked Hizumi to join him, but he declined until Le'Viel had broken up later on. Karyu finally met Tsukasa after Hizumi suggested him for the band. Eventually one day Karyu called ZERO, Hizumi, and Tsukasa one day to record a demo tape; then being the birth of +DéspairsRay+.[1]
