Veliko Mlačevo is a village in the Grosuplje municipality in central Slovenia. It lies just to the southeast of Grosuplje itself in the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenia statistical region.[2]
The local church is dedicated to the Saint Mrtin and belongs to the Žalna parish. In its core it is a 14th century Gothic building that was heavily restyled in the Baroque in the 18th century.[3]
