Amer is a 2009 French-language thriller film written and directed by French directors Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani.[4]

Release

The film was released at several film festivals, including the Lausanne Underground Film Festival[5], Fantastisk Film Festival, and Sitges Film Festival[6], and was released in French cinemas on 03 March 2010.[7] The film had its US premiere as part of the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Conference and Festival on 12 March 2010.[8][9] Quentin Tarantino included Amer in his Top 20 films of 2010, published by The Hollywood Reporter.[10]

Production

This French-Belgian giallo film was produced and released in 2009[11]. It is an hommage to the films of Dario Argento and Mario Bava[12].
