Jason's Birthplace

It states that Jason was born in California, which is not true. It says so in his Biography. He was born in Pisa, Italy on May 16th 1973.

Yes I have noticed that. Why has it been changed to California? The article I have has it marked as Pisa, Italy. Mosdefau2 13:39, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stunts

I just recently watched all the episodes of Jackass as well as the movie and I can't find any footage of Wee Man carrying Preston Lacy. Can anyone verify this footage?

I've seen just about everything, too, but I do not recall Jason lifting Preston. Jason did give Shaquille O'Neal a somewhat ackward piggy-back ride with ease, though. This was during some footage from a Shaq music video or something, on MTV. It may have also been included in some Jackass episodes. I just wasted two minutes of my life discussing Wee-Man's strength. Im pretty sure he never carried Preston around. Why is it still noted? The article in general is pretty poor.

"Vertically Challenged"

Come on, this is ridiculous...

Agreed, I changed it to "a midget". In contrast, imagine someone who is tall being called "vertically gifted" or the like. Gimme me a break. 84.161.75.153 17:00, 27 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
How about "Horizontally Empowered"?

The term "midget" is now considered derogatory. The correct term is "little person", people with some specific medical conditions can be called "dwarfs". Not all little people are dwarfs, but Acuna's specific medical condition does mean he can be called a dwarf. Nobody really says "vertically challenged", that's just a joke. There are no organizations fighting for the rights of the "vertically challenged", but there does exist an organization called "Little People of America".

Isn't saying black people considered derogatory? So why isn't little people considered derogatory in the same argument? 勇敢な要素 (talk) 19:34, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure it's not true

But there are a lot of sites that say he died last month in a bowling alley or something. He was on that thing they showed at the VMAs, but he could have died after it was taped. --Macarion 17:24, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think the urban legend that he had died should be mentioned. Ive heard a few usually involving a jackass stunt such as he died after consuming a kilo of salt.
The particularly memorable version that I heard was that he died from kicking himself in the head too many times. Oviously not true, though. Churba 19:04, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
In France, the rumor is that he felt on the ground after a huge jump, instead of the swimming pool ^^ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.177.158.231 (talk) 18:56, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted material

Under the guidelines of WP:BLP I have deleted the following (poorly spelled) statement that was not cited and appears to also be in violation of WP:NPOV. If someone can provide a link to a news article on this, then by all means put it back: ... (Armed and Famous) has become somewhat of a controversy in the community of Muncie as some of its residence are in fear that the celebrities and the producer of the show, Tom Forman, are out to exploit them and embarrass them for the sake of ratings by filming them against their will. The Mayor of the city, Dan Canan, agreed to the shows presence claiming national publicity will increase the liklihood of future investors getting to know the city through its police department. 23skidoo 13:53, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

TNA Bound For Glory

I don't remember him being involved. There was a 'midget wrestler' named Short Sleeve Sampson but he is a different person altogether.

Mind Of Mencia?

Has Wee Man made appearences on Comedy Central's Mind Of Mencia?

no that was brad willams

Official Site

Jason Acuna no longer is working with the company that did his original "Official Website". Jason has a new URL that he needs put on this article replacing the old link.

His new home on the internet is http://www.weemanmilitia.com and is no longer http://www.wee-man.com. The old site is no longer updated and his contact with that company is no longer working with Jason.

You can validate this site (weemanmilitia) is his "Official Website" by going to his Official Myspace page and reading up on there.

Celebrity Circus

Wee Man is on the american version of "Celebrity Circus", but it doesn't say that on the main article. Someone should change it. I would change it, but I can't because it is edit protected and I'm not a member. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.225.140.1 (talk) 02:42, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request from Limbero, 28 June 2010

{{editsemiprotected}} There should be a section about rumors of his death. I took the liberty to write a suggestion, feel free to change it before adding.

Death Rumors

There have been rumors about his death circling around, primarily on the Internet, some reporting he died from trying to headbutt a bowling ball, others claiming that he died from eating a whole kilo of salt or kicking himself in the head repeatedly. These rumors are not true. As of July 28th 2010, when this article was last edited, he's still alive.

The last sentence might not be necessary, exclude it if you don't think it's appropriate. Limbero (talk) 04:23, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Otherwise it is original research. SpigotMap 12:33, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
