Stuart David Price (born in Paris, 9 September 1977) is an electronic musician, songwriter and producer whose remixing and production skills are coveted by artists including Madonna, Missy Elliot and The Killers. His acts include British electronic pop/rock band Zoot Woman with Adam Blake and Jonny Blake, Les Rythmes Digitales, Paper Faces, Man With Guitar, and the parodic French moniker Jacques Lu Cont, even though he actually grew up in the UK.

The use of the Les Rhythmes Digitales and Jacques Lu Cont names was initially a reference to the then current vogue for French house music in the UK (artists such as Daft Punk, Motorbass/Etienne de Crecy, Dimitri from Paris and Air). He even went as far as to conduct interviews with British journalists in French via an interpreter. In interviews from around this time he also claimed that as a child he had grown up listening only to classical music, until encountering the album 'Dare' by the Human League; certainly all his records bear a heavy debt to the 80's sounds of synthpop bands.

His song "Jacques Your Body (Makes Me Sweat)" was originally released in 1999, achieving limited success (no. 60 on the UK Singles Chart). However the song was later used on a Citroën C4 car advert, and it has been re-released in 2005, reaching no. 9 in the UK.

His album Darkdancer was released in 1999. He has also released a dj-mix album ("Fabriclive.09") under the name Jacques Lu Cont.

Price won his first Grammy award in 2004 for his remix of No Doubt's "It's My Life." He's nominated for two 2005 Grammys: one for his production of New Order's "Guilt Is a Useless Emotion," and a second for his remix of The Killers' "Mr. Brightside", under the moniker Thin White Duke (originally used by David Bowie). Price's remixes are characterized by club-lead beats over which main riffs are faded or filtered in to climactic effect. He favours keeping the original vocal arrangement and re-contextualizing the lyrical content to make the new version.

Price co-wrote and co-produced most of Madonna's tenth studio album Confessions on a Dance Floor after being the musical director for her 2004 Re-Invention Tour and the keyboardist on her Drowned World Tour in 2001. He also co-wrote the song "X-Static Process" from her 2003 album American Life.

Price also successfully released two albums with his band, Zoot Woman, 2001's 'Living in a Magazine', and 2003's 'Zoot Woman'.
