Hrachik Javakhyan (Template:Lang-hy, born on July 6, 1984) is an Armenian lightweight boxer best known to win Silver at the 2006 European Amateur Boxing Championships in Plovdiv and qualifying for the Olympics 2008.

Career

In the semifinal of the Euros 2006 he beat Belarussian Vazgen Safaryants.

At the 2007 World Amateur Boxing Championships he qualified for the Olympics by reaching the quarterfinal beating fighters like Sadam Ali. He lost to his first name opponent in Domenico Valentino.

At the Olympics he lost the semifinal 5:10 to Aleksei Tishchenko and won Bronze.
