Drochtersen

Drochtersen is a smaller commune in Lower Saxony (Germany), 60 km north west of Hamburg. Drochtersen has a population of cerca 12,000 and belongs to the district Stade.

In Drochtersen there is a 42 meter high tower of the "hunt pellet is & hail factory Haentler & Natermann" for the production of shot balls at the Elbe. This tower is not in use any more.
