Jose Filipe Torres is a Design and Branding Consultancy Professional, actually working as CEO at Bloom Consulting. Recognized as one of the world experts in Nation Branding, José has worked several reference European Brands, advised governments of several European Countries and has given conferences all over Europe[1].

Jose spent most of its early life in Estoril, Portugal and in an estate near Ourém, Portugal. Having skipped college, at age of 18 he worked as paper cutter for the Novo Design / Brandia publicity agency in Lisbon where he become interested by the designers work.[1]

One job interview in London earned him a job in Madrid at the American Branding agency Future Brand as Brands Responsible for the Iberian Market. After two years he decided to start his own business.[1]

In 2003 he founded Branding agency, Bloom Consulting in Madrid, Spain, where he actually works as CEO. According to The Economist, this is the third largest enterprise concerning expertise in Nation Branding[2].

In November 2006 José was interviewed by The Economist Magazine for the reference article on Nation Branding "National Branding: A new sort of beauty contest" alongside with Simon Anholt and Wally Olins [3].
