'The Wrong Guy' is a 1997 Canadian film directed by Dave Steinberg. It was co-written by Dave Foley of "The Kids in the Hall" fame, and Foley also stars in the picture.

The Wrong Guy is a farcical comedy about dorky executive Neslon Hibbert (Foley) who gets passed over for a promotion. When he goes to confront his boss, he finds that the man has already been murdered, and, stupidly, assumes that he will be mistaken for the murderer. Nelson flees, unaware that security cameras have already revealed the identity of the true killer to the authorities. What follows are roughly 80 minutes of bizarre misadventures marked with slapstick routines, constant one-liners, and a heavy dose of absurdism.
