Total Dhamaal, formerly known as Dhamaal 3, is an upcoming Bollywood comedy caper film and the sequel to Dhamaal (2007) and Double Dhamaal (2011). The film stars most of the actors from the previous two films, including Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi and Riteish Deshmukh, with new additions including Aftab Shivdasani, and a cameo appearance by Jacqueline Fernandez respectivly. It is directed by Indra Kumar, and produced by Ashok Thakeria under production-house, Reliance Entertainment, with music cassettes on T-Series.

The film is noted to be the most-awaited trilogy in Bollywood history, after Golmaal 3. In the prequel, Mallika Sherawat and Kangna Ranaut had played the lead female-role, who have been switched in this movie, and instead, created Dutt's younger brother, Aftab Shivdasani.

Production

Total Dhamaal was announced by director, Indra Kumar at the success party of prequel, Double Dhamaal. Indra Kumar also mentioned the film being multi-casted, as many of the characters have not been chosen yet, only the main cast reprising their roles. After Total Dhamaal is released, the Dhamaal series will turn to a trilogy, and Kumar claimed that if the third installment is an even bigger commercial-success than the last two prequels, then Dhamaal would be the first Bollywood movie, with 4 sequels.
