Transcriptions

Template:Chinese name Cao Xun (231 - 244) was an adopted son of Cao Rui, an emperor of the state of Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms period of Chinese history. It is not known who his birth parents were, because Cao Rui deliberately kept their identities secrets, although it was likely that he was adopted from within the imperial Cao clan. In 235 Cao Rui instated Cao Xun as the Prince of Qin. In 239, after Cao Rui's death, he did not receive the throne; rather, it went to his brother Cao Fang, who was also adopted by Cao Rui. He died at a young age.
