The 2011 Utøya shooting occurred on 22 July 2011 during a AUF youth summer camp in Utøya, Norway. A man impersonating a police officer fired gunshots at the campers; the area has been evacuated.[1][2] The Oslo police have been informed of the situation in Utøya.[1] Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg was scheduled to visit the camp on 23 July.[3] This happened approximately two hours after an explosion in Oslo, but it is not confirmed whether these two attacks are related. Reports indicate that one person has been arrested. [4] Several people are reported to have been killed. [5]
