Unprintworthy redirects

Hi Σ, thank you for the marvellous job done by your SigmaBot. There are still plenty of unprintworthy redirects to be fixed (see 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5). I hope you will find the time to work also on them. Thank you in advance and excuse me for my insistence. --Checco (talk) 15:49, 15 July 2011 (UTC)

Hi Σ, I know about the issue raised by an editor because I followed your edits and talk page over the last two weeks. As a reminder of what I would like your bot to do, I am simply going to copy the request made at Wikipedia:Bot requests (I hope it is enough):
Some pages have been moved and I'm asking you to bypass the redirects in all the other pages as they are unencyclopedic, bizarre and de facto unprintworthy. The pages are:
All the pages containing one of the five original article titles should be edited. You can check 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 to see what articles still need to be edited by your bot according to the bot request for approval. --Checco (talk) 08:00, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
Please excuse me. Christian Democracy for the Autonomies was moved to Christian Democracy for Autonomies (all the pages containing unprintworthy redirects are listed in link1). In link2, link3, link4, and link5 you will find the unprintworthy redirects of the other four articles. --Checco (talk) 16:21, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. --Σ talkcontribs 05:05, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
Thanks to you – a lot! Could you also fix the articles at link2 [unprintworthy redirects to Christian Democracy (Italy, historical) instead of Christian Democracy (Italy)]? Thanks! --Checco (talk) 11:28, 22 July 2011 (UTC)

AWB script broke template

AWB run by you broke the use of the template at Karelian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Compare your version to the previous version. I think the proper template here is Infobox SSR, but if you feel there's a more appropriate template, please feel free to implement it. I only ask that you implement it correctly without breaking anything. If you don't have the time or the desire to fix it, just say the word and I'll revert to the previous version (and maybe try to clean it up some). —Firespeaker (talk) 01:01, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

Infobox SSR got deleted by a TfD. I'll try fixing it by hand. --Σ talkcontribs 01:20, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
Hm, you redid it as a former country (which it wasn't), and managed to get rid of a lot of the information I'd added to the template. See how I had it as a former subdivision. Do you have more information on the deletion of Infobox SSR? That seems like something that probably shouldn't be deleted. I was all ready to fix it (making population density an automatic calculation, adding some fields, etc.). —Firespeaker (talk) 00:36, 20 July 2011 (UTC)
WP:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2011_May_14#Template:Infobox_SSR I was never aware of the subdivision's infobox. You can undo my replacement of the infobox if you wish. --Σ talkcontribs 02:12, 20 July 2011 (UTC)

Ah, good gravy, that IP needs to control its temper... I didn't check its contributions before reading the discussion. A stealthy revert will now take place. Thanks for alerting me. --Σ talkcontribs 02:09, 17 July 2011 (UTC)
I've commented on that discussion, with a thought from what I happened to read earlier today. --Σ talkcontribs 02:22, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

There's a bit of irony in the fact that bolded recommendations are not necessary now needs to be bolded and have NOT capitalized in order for editors to pay attention to it. I chuckled a bit. :) I, Jethrobot drop me a line (note: not a bot!) 06:13, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Having a few bits of css that result in this might be helpful too. :P --Σ talkcontribs 06:25, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion criterion G11

Hello, Σ I have read your comments about speedy deletion at User talk:Ryan Vesey, and it appears that you are under the impression that "promotion" applies only to commercial promotion in order to sell something. However, this is not the case. As you will see if you read WP:NOTPROMOTION, the Wikipedia policy on promotion covers any kind of promotion, including promoting a non-profit organisation, an opinion or point of view, a person, or anything else. JamesBWatson (talk) 07:32, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Your signature

Your signature is stylish and well-designed, and I like it. However, the code behind it has been bothering me for quite some time, as it contains some invalid CSS code:

<span style="text-shadow:gray 0.2em 0.2em 0.1em;class=texhtml">[[User:Σ|Σ]] (etc.)

This piece of code performs no function, and needlessly increases the length of your signature. The correct code for the texhtml class is this:

<span style="text-shadow:gray 0.2em 0.2em 0.1em" class="texhtml">[[User:Σ|Σ]] (etc.)

, but I think you would find that this is counter-productive. Here is your signature with the corrected code:

Here is a post that you wrote. Here is a post that you wrote. Here is a post that you wrote. Here is a post that you wrote. Here is a post that you wrote. Here is a post that you wrote. Here is a post that you wrote. Here is a post that you wrote. Σ talkcontribs 00:00, date (NOTE: this signature is for experimental purposes only - the comment was left by User:This, that and the other)

. Could you please consider either removing the problematic code, or changing it to a correct version if you like the outcome? It would allow me, and many other users, to rest easy when participating in discussions in which you have commented. Thanks, — This, that, and the other (talk) 07:45, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
