The Sith assassin are a fictional caste of Sith in Star Wars videogames, described as 'seeking the ways of darkness and shadow, the power that comes from striking unseen and sensing weaknesses in others... Masters in the ways of stealth and camouflage'.

Sith Assassins in video games:

Knights of the old Republic

In Knights of the Old Republic, there are various references to Sith assassins as 'hunting down the Jedi where they congregate'. Also, a blaster in the game, found on the corpse of a Dark Jedi is named 'Sith assassin pistol', which is also used by other enemies, such as the Sith admiral Saul Karath.

Knights of the Old Republic II: the Sith Lords

In Knights of the Old Republic II, Sith assassins appear in two forms: first, as enemies, an elite group of soldiers using stealth generators to sneak up on the main character, armed with hand-to-hand weapons, and led by Darth Sion. They are used to destroy what is left of the Jedi order and were used to destroy nearly the entire Jedi Order between KOTOR and KOTOR II. For more on this, see Atris. Despite not using the Force or having lightsabers, sith assassins are formidable foes. Sith assassins also appear as a 'prestige class' that the player may choose at level 15, which they may select only if they are dark side oriented, and grants the player the ability to go into 'stealth mode' without needing stealth field generator.
