Connectix is a software and hardware company, famous for having released innovating products and sold them to other companies once they had become popular. Example of these are:

the QuickCam webcams, sold to Logitech;
an emulation software of the PlayStation, sold to Sony (who dropped it immediately);
VirtualPC an emulation software of an x86-based personal computer for the Macintosh (and later for Windows), sold to Microsoft, along with Virtual Server.
