NC 83 is an eight-mile North Carolina State Highway. It is solely in Robeson County. It connects the county seat of Robeson with southern Robeson County.

Northern Terminus

NC 83 begins at NC 130. To be quite honest, the intersection is in the middle of nowhere.

Southern Terminus

NC 83 used to end at US 501. However, by 1947 the road was extended to our current northern terminus of NC 130. Crossing over the historic terminus, the road goes about three more miles to the North Carolina-South Carolina border. This is about 5 miles north of Clio, South Carolina.
