- Wait until a reliable source comes out like a press release from Corus. It's not finalized until Corus releases a press release confirming that it is. єmarsee • Speak up! 17:30, 28 November 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of 2009 Toronto blackout
An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is 2009 Toronto blackout. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2009 Toronto blackout. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
Here are some other hints and tips:
- I would recommend that you get a username. You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address) and the date.
If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}} on this talk page and a user will help you as soon as possible. I will try to answer your questions as best as I can. Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian. Me-123567-Me (talk) 14:49, 2 May 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page 2010 Central Canada earthquake do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. GorillaWarfare talk 15:56, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Toronto Rocket (Toronto subway car) appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe this important core policy. Thank you. Hiding unreferenced opinion is not really necessary considering that it is embedded in the article. Thank you. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Toronto Rocket (Toronto subway car). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive; until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. It appears that you have been warned about this very activity in the past, please refrain from making un-constructive edits that do not relate to the content of the article eja2k 22:00, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edits you made to Toronto Rocket (Toronto subway car), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia.
Adding information that is already included in the article is counter productive, as is making statements which contradict the body of the article or confuse the statements made within. Stating that the Toronto Rocket is the "newest ARTICULATED subway train", implies that the TTC has other articulated trains which we know is not the case. You made similar edits to Toronto subway and RT rolling stock regarding the re-allocation of trains. The Sheppard line already exclusively runs T1 subway vehicles, and therefore no vehicles will be "shifted over" to facilitate the retirement of the older H-series fleet. Your edits are factually inaccurate. Please check your facts before making edits. Thanks! :-)
