1949 BAA playoffs

The 1949 BAA Playoffs was the postseason of the Basketball Association of America's 1948–49 season. Basketball Association of America (BAA) would eventually become the National Basketball Association (NBA). The tournament concluded with the Western Conference champion Minneapolis Lakers defeating the Eastern Conference champion Washington Capitols, four games to two in the BAA Finals.
