This IP is a proxy
Just so everyone knows, this is the ip of proxy.xmission.com, a socks proxy for a large ISP in Utah. Anyone with an account at XMission is able to, technically, use this proxy to conceal their identity. While I have not seen any vandalism from it personally, I just thought I'd put this out there for future reference. —A 04:37, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

- Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at switchblade, you may be blocked from editing. Dellant (talk) 00:15, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
The change to the switchblade article was a correction. The article said it was legal to posses in Austria, this is incorrect. They are in fact illegal to posses as in carry upon your person. You may however own one in your home or collect them. Correcting a falsehood to a fact is not vandalism. Also this IP address is used by all 150,000 customers of Xmission unless they have paid for a static IP. Roughly 20% of internet connected people in Utah are Xmission customers including all public ap's in SLC. This means everything from someone walking down mainstreet, to kids at the libraries and schools. So blocking this IP would probably not be a good idea unless there was significant vandalism. If that were to happen please contact abuse@xmission.com to report it.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
