In 2009 Redhage was appointed Captain of the Perth Wildcats, and started the season in great form, winning two of his first four games with the Cats.

On January 23, 2011 Redhage suffered a dislocated hip during the Wildcats 77-76 loss against the Adelaide 36ers and was ruled out for the remainder of the 2010-11 NBL season.[8]
