Mika Vukona (born May 13, 1982 in Suva, Fiji) is a New Zealand professional basketball player for the Australasian National Basketball League's New Zealand Breakers and for the New Zealand Tall Blacks. He has been a member of the U/16, U/18 and U/20 national teams.

Career

Vukona played for the Nelson Giants in the New Zealand NBL (he previously played for the Palmerston North Jets) and was elevated from a development player to a contracted player for the 2005/2006 season with the New Zealand Breakers. He was a member of the Tall Blacks side for 2005 and 2006, and competed in the 2006 World Basketball Championships in Japan. He signed with the New Zealand Breakers for the 2006/2007 season, and chose to sign with the South Dragons for the 2008/09 season.[1] For the 2010/11 ANBL season, he will return to the New Zealand Breakers.[2]
