I see what you've done now
re the Devilfish addition. I'm new to Wikipedia. I still think it's a more plausible account of how the nickname was arrived at than the version in the main text, though.
Why did you delete my alternative nickname theory for Dave Ulliott?
Was it that I didn't ask first, or that the account about the Devilfish's nickname is not attributed to any named person? I find it more plausible than the one currently posted.
Prince of nothing
I had very good reasons for deleting the content in the Prince of Nothing entry - the information is plagiarized and not relevant unless you are actually reading the books already. I noted this in the talk page, and I'm willing to work on improving the article - but in the meantime, copying the book's appendix isn't much help to people who are just investigating the series. These need other eyes than mine, would you be willing to take a look? After hacking through massive amounts of bad grammar and POV, I can't look at them for a while.

- :) Note from Aleena - Thank you for your willingness to go through them. As I said, I can't look at them right now. I am actually sick of looking at them after spending 2-3 days looking over the same words over and over and over again editting them in a text editor. I will take a look at your changes after a few days away from them I think. If you find anything that needs drastic changes, however, please let me know.

Re: Poker Royale
(replying from User_talk:TonicBH)
Unfortunately, I do not have much information on the results of the series. Doing some internet searches COULD give you some help, but I think the closest we can really get is watching the episodes in question. Thankfully the show reruns during late night hours. -TonicBH 15:10, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Please keep an eye on the article, if possible. Some people add unsourced "facts" that bear badly on Ms Chamberlain's reputation. David.Monniaux 15:21, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

Sorry about that. Didn't realize that was the policy. It irks me everytime I go to that page and see the names linked in some places but not others. The rules are the rules though, so my apologies and thanks for fixing my "fixings."
Out of curiosity, am I the first to do that to that page, or do noobs like myself come and edit that often?
Congrats on the adminship, by the way.
Thanks
Thanks for taking the time to vote in my RfA, which passed with a final vote of 54/2/1 despite my obvious inadequacy for the job. I'll do my level best to use the mop and bucket — or, as I said in my RfA, plunger — responsibly. Of course, in the best tradition of politicans everywhere, I've already broken a campaign promise and blocked a vandal (after I said "I don't anticipate using the blocking tool very often"). Nevertheless, I'll try not to let the unbridled power corrupt me. —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 14:56, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
Your welcome for thanking me for helping you become an admin. The picture of David I got from that website does not say to use their images with permission. Feel free to use another one, but I just wanted to clarify. The Eye of Timaeus 00:39, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

Coronation Street
I know you said earlier in the year that you wanted to start work on making this a good article again, so I'm wondering why nothing came of it. If you're still interested in doing the job, I'd like to collaborate (but I can't do much since I'm rather busy with school). Mike H. That's hot 23:19, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your constructive critisizm during my RfA! It has decided to postpone making me an administrator based upon recent consensus (or lack thereof). Thanks for the kind remarks and I hope to continue to see you around the project. Cheers, ZsinjTalk 08:37, 4 March 2006 (UTC) |

Thank you! Thank you for your support in my recent RFA. It passed 53/1/2 and I am now an administrator. I appreciate that some of you made exceptions to your usual requirements re length of service and so on because we've interracted positively in the past, or because of my credentials, so I will endeavour to use my new mop cautiously. I'm always open to feedback and gently constructive criticism. If you're not an admin and need some assistance do of course please let me know. Thanks again --kingboyk 00:23, 6 March 2006 (UTC) |

Hi Mutant. My goodness, you get a lot of these! I thought long and hard about bucking the trend, but decided in the end to make this vulture-themed message. Admins are sort of like vultures, cleaning things up and whatnot... well, as long as you don't think too much about it. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to consider my RfA, which passed this morning. If there's ever anything I can help you with, just ask; you know where to find me. ×Meegs 06:20, 11 March 2006 (UTC) |
