Football Manager 2012 (abbreviated to Football Manager 12 or FM12) is a football manager simulation video game. It is due to be released on 21 October 2011.[1]
New Features
Through September and October 2011 Sports Interactive have been releasing blogs detailing new aspects of gameplay available in Football Manager 2012.[2] Some of the key new features include:
- Anywhere, Anytime management: This is the added ability to add or remove leagues during a saved game. This would theoretically allow a player to manage a team in any playable league without having to have a large save file.
- Transfers & contracts: The player can now lock certain aspects of contract negotiations, e.g. the basic wage, whilst allowing flexibilty in bonuses and agents fees.
- Scouting: There have been improvements to the scout reports based on real life examples. Scouts and coaches can now provide a more in depth analysis of team and player performances.
