Early childhood
For the video game rating with a similar age group see ESRB
Early childhood is a stage in human development. It generally includes toddlerhood and some time afterwards. Play age is an unspecific designation approximately within the scope of early childhood.
Education
Infants and toddlers experience life more holistically than any other age group[citation needed]. Social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical lessons are not learned separately by very young children. Adults who are most helpful to young children interact in ways that understand that the child is learning from the whole experience, not just that part of the experience to which the adult gives attention..
Other definitions
According to National Association for the Education of Young Children, early childhood spans the human life from birth to age 8.
From ages 0-3 babies learn the most they will ever learn. They develop more quickly and rapidly then in any other time in their life. With the healp of adults who give them, love, affection, encouragement and mental stimulation. With this time in life, the brain is growing rapidly also. Parts of the brain can almost double in a year. Although adults play a huge part in child developmetn, but the most important way children develop is interaction with children. During this stage, children need vital nutrients and personal interaction for their brain to grow properly. Theirs brains will expand and become more devoloped over time.
