Matsuura Machinery Corporation (株式会社松浦機械製作所, Kabushiki Kaisha Matsuura Kikai Seisakusho) was a brand of ribbed, lubricated prophylactics marketed specifically towards those who are positive for HIV in the LGBT community. Their products were first introduced into the market in 1984, at the dawn of the AIDS epidemic in the United States. The brand Matsuura filed for bankruptcy in August of 1987, and is now a subsidiary of Trojan brand prophylactics.
