Depressaria marcella is a moth of the Oecophoridae family. It is found in France, Spain, Portugal, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, the Republic of Macedonia, Greece and Turkey and on Sardinia and Sicily.[2] It has also been recorded from Israel[3], Iran and North Africa.[4]

The larvae feed on the flower buds of Daucus species, including Daucus carota and Daucus muricatus.[5]
