State Route 101 begins at the intersection of Interstate 20 in Villa Rica (Exit 24) in Carroll County in west-central Georgia, where it is co-signed with S.R. 61 for approximately 1/2 mile north until it intersects with U.S. Route 78/S.R. 8. SR 101 ends at the intersection of U.S. Route 27/SR 1/SR 20 in Rome, Georgia in the northwest portion of the state.
