Pike Township is a township located in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 657.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 74.7 km² (28.8 mi²). 74.3 km² (28.7 mi²) of it is land and 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.59% water.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there were 657 people, 233 households, and 187 families residing in the township. The population density was 8.8/km² (22.9/mi²). There were 305 housing units at an average density of 4.1/km² (10.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the township was 98.02% White, 0.91% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.76% from other races, and 0.30% from two or more races. 1.83% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 233 households out of which 37.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.1% were married couples living together, 4.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.7% were non-families. 18.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 6.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
