RPTOR WHICH OPENED ON dECEMBER 7TH 1995 inside the Mall of America, is getting a new name. Negotiations between the mall and United Media, which owns the rights to the "Peanuts" characters have broken down, forcing the park to remove all references to the comic strip. Starting Jan. 19, Camp Snoopy will simply be known as "The Park at MoA".

A large inflatable Snoopy and a ride with Snoopy's doghouse will be removed, but the rest of the park will remain open while it looks for a new brand.

Children under age 7 were not allowed to ride due to the scariness of the ride.
