Wow, American wikipedia editors - way to sanitize a horrific war criminal.96.30.162.10 (talk) 17:52, 10 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Clean up War Crimes?

I think the War Crimes section really needs to be cleaned up. It doesn't seem to be at all balanced, even deleting the previous reference to his receiving the Medal of Honor. Gibblet 02:09, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This whole article warrants cleanup. I've given it a start and welcome additional help. It was full of inaccuracies regarding his early career. I'll continue to work on it over the weekend. --Spacini 21:48, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't even think it should be called War Crimes. In the time that this action took place there were few limits on what was a crime regarding war and in fact in most cases any and all means were used to win.--Kumioko (talk) 14:07, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Execution of POWs is alaways a war crime, regardless of who does it and when. GregorB (talk) 20:46, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
