The Kosher Roast is pop up kosher restaurant which appears in London on Sunday 4th December and Sunday 11th December 2011.

The restaurant provides diners with a contemporary dining environment in which to enjoy a traditional British Sunday lunch. British cuisine is under represented in kosher restaurant provision in the UK.

Location

The pop up restaurant is taking place in The Shop in Kensal Rise, a fashionable area of North West London.

Conception

The founder of the Kosher Roast, Amy Beilin conceived the idea after years of watching friends indulge in the traditional British Sunday roast and being unable to due to her observance of the Kosher Laws. After experimenting in her kitchen with various roasts and perfecting her technique she was inspired by the flourishing pop up restaurant scene in the UK to take this idea public.

Sales

Tickets went on sale on 1st November 2011 and sold out within two weeks. 60 tickets were assigned for each day, all priced at £25.
