Sahiwal Medical College, Sahiwal (Urdu: ساہیوال میڈیکل کالج ساہیوال ), established in 2010, is a public school of Medicine and Nursing located in Sahiwal, Punjab, Pakistan. District Headquarters Hospital and Haji Abdul Qayyum Hospital are attached to the college as the teaching hospitals. College' building and campus is under-construction therefore, classes of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Diploma in Nursing are being held, temporarily, in DHQ's Hospital' premises.
Inauguration
The Project for medical college was developed by a seven-member King Edward Medical University team earlier in 2009. On 27 November 2010, Chief Minister Punjab, Mian Shahbaz Sharif laid the foundation stone of Sahiwal Medical College. The Government has allotted the land near Central Jail Sahiwal for the College, where the campus would be completed at the cost of Rs. 1 billion till 2013.[1] However, the classes of MBBS are being held regularly in the Paramedical Hall of the District Headquarters Hospital, Sahiwal.

The 430-bed District Headquarters Hospital Sahiwal and 73-bed Haji Abdul Qayyum Hospital have been attached with the medical college as the Teaching hospitals. In these hospitals, all the major specialties including Medical, Surgical, Pediatrics, Gynecology, ENT, Orthopedics are available.
