Retirement of this account
Hi, Guys. I am retiring from Wikipedia for the time being. My time here has been greatly reduced for over a year now and my enthusiams has been ebbing. Ever since the Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Cirt and Jayen466 and Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Manipulation of BLPs, my gusto for Wikipedia has gone away completely. I have learned alot in my time here and made some good alliances, and acquaintances. I believe in the project ideas but find the political, social, interpersonal, religious and cultural disputes that rage on Wikipedia to be too much for me to handle. Wikipedia needs some reforms to be made before I can whole who heartedly return This may change in time and I might decide to return. If I do, it will be under a new account and will probably be awhile before then. May you participate in good faith editing and Wikilove shine upon you. Long live Jimbo, the Project and most importantly the concepts of Consensus, Neutrality, and Civility.
Sincerely, Bryan The Resident Anthropologist (talk)•(contribs)
Well Wishes for the future
- Good luck with everything, Bryan. I was almost taken to Chattanooga from Nashville two weeks ago. Perhaps next time. Best regards, Mathsci (talk) 21:49, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
- Good luck. I remember you, and saw that I had reverted some whacko who was crazily attacking your page a while back. With over 7,000 edits and no block log to speak of, hopefully you'll return. Doc talk 21:58, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
People who wish to be notified if/when I return
