Mangalbhai Patel

Prof. Mangadbhai Madhavdas Patel was Speaker of Gujarat Legislative Assembly from year Dec 2002 to Jan 2008. He Belong to Bharatiya Janta Party. He was born on 7th September 1942 at Parbatpura, Taluka Mansa, Dist. Gandhinagar. File:Http://www.mpmla.in/images/1277866950pro. mangalbhai patel.jpg


He was Professor of Botany at Mansa Science College. He was member of tenth Gujarat Legislative Assembly during the year 1998 to 2011 during three consultative session in a row for the Mansa(84) seat. His supreme and dedicated work for District Panchayat Mehsana was outstanding. He was member of Bharatiya Jan Sangh since 1966. He also served for vijapur taluka panchayat. He was senate at Gujarat University, North Gujarat University. He represented Asia Region at Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, London, 2003. He has presented two research papers on Mesocotyl in Botany.

He passed away on 15th November 2011 at 69.

Hobby : Reading, study in the field of social service, education, Cooperation, politics, administration, irrigation and agriculture. Travels Abroad : Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Japan, England, U.S.A, Australia, Fiji Islands, France, Switzerland, Pakistan, Nigeria.
