Kshitij Wagh is an Indian playback singer. He debuts with his first Hindi film duet 'Mehki Mehki' with Shreya Ghoshal, for the film Game, Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Kangna Ranaut and Sarah-Jane Dias, Music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
Other film songs to his credit include 'motu master' from 'Udaan' and 'Aashaon ke pankh' from priyadarshan's 'Bum Bum Bole'. His forthcoming songs include a title track from the film 'Delhi Safari', and a duet from the Amitabh-Sridevi starrer 'English Vinglish'.
He is also debuting as a music director for his first marathi film called 'Yedyanchi Jatra', starring Bharat Jhadav, Vinay Apte and Mohan Joshi. The film has four songs that include a lavani sung by Shreya Ghoshal and a sad song sung by Shankar Mahadevan. The lavani has been performed by Shweta Tiwari and choreographed by Saroj Khan.
The film is set to release in the month of january,2012.
Early life
Born into a Maharashtrian family in Gwalior, brought up in Delhi, Kshitij started singing when he was only 4 years old. He trained under the guidance of his father.After completing his graduation in B.Sc.(electronics), he worked as a software engineer for a website for 2 years, when he got an opportunity in Delhi to sing for TV commercial. Realizing that his heart and potential was always in singing, he decided to quit job and pursue singing as a full time career,and started singing jingles in Delhi.
A few known jingles to his credit include, cadbury's 'aaj pehli tareekh hai', Aircel's Dhoni 3G commercial 'chup chup gap shap' and the latest Lux commercial starring Aishwarya Rai,'Har Kahin Chaaya hai ye'.
