Plattsville is a small town of 1400 located on the Nith River in southwestern Ontario, Canada. It is located in the township of Blanford-Blenheim in Oxford County. The town has an arena, small historic downtown, a feed mill, an elementary school along with a newly built library, a couple of restaurants and two churches. Over the passed years, the town has been debating over whether or not to build a skateboard park, which has been highly favoured by youth and young adults in the community.

In 2003, a plan was announced for the town to finish a subdivison project that was started 7 years ago. In this final stage, more than 600 homes will be added plus a much needed gas station and a small commercial plaza.
