A fact from The Big One (Dexter) appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 21 December 2010 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
I am not sure how linking to a dab page is to give an idea of popularity, or why such an idea is needed in this link. If the read needs an idea of popularity, the idea should be presented in the text here (with citation for its notability), not suggested by the contents of a navigational page somewhere else. -- JHunterJ (talk) 00:33, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have to say that isn't going to work. The Dab page serves an important function, and needs to be there. Its function would not be eclipsed by a "List of" article. They could exist separately. The Interior(Talk)20:01, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Agree, linking to a dab page should not be done unless it's in a hat-note. Even if there would be an article "List of works named "Through a Glass, Darkly"", which would not be a replacement of the dab article, I don't believe there is a need for a link towards it. Why the need to show unrelated materials which just happen to have the same name, in this case just a working title, not even the actual title? Xeworlebi(talk)20:22, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
AV Inaccuracy
(The same goes for Deb bringing up the Ice Truck Killer for his annual season finale mention but not bringing up that she, uh, knows Dexter is the guy's brother, a plot point that's been completely dropped)
People shouldn't be allowed to review shows they don't even watch. In the show she has no idea who Dexters real family is or what it is that he does in his spare time. The entire AV review should be removed or it should be noted that line is inaccurate/the reviewer got mixed up with the books.
