The Great Gamble is a 1919 adventure film serial written and directed by Joseph A. Golden. After his success as the second lead in Wolves of Kultur, Charles Hutchison was given the leading role as Ralph Darrell. Anne Luther played the dual role of Alie and Nell Moreton,twin sisters separated at birth, one of who lives in poverty while the other is raised in a wealthy family. The plot concerns villains who seek to substitute the poor daughter, who is in their control, in order to acquire the wealthier sister's fortune.[1]
