Convergence, subtitled as 'The International Journal of Research into New Media Technologies is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes papers four times a year in the fields of communications and media. The journal's editors are Julia Knight (University of Sunderland, UK) and Alexis Weedon (University of Bedfordshire, UK). It has been in publication since 1995 and is currently published by SAGE Publications.

Scope

Convergence publishes research papers addressing the creative, social, political and pedagogical issues raised by the advent of new media technologies. The journal provides an international forum for research into the impact and consumption of new media technologies in domestic, public and educational contexts.
