Memorial Medical Center is an acute care hospital in Springfield, Illinois, that offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. It includes the Memorial Heart and Vascular Institute, the Center for Neuromuscular Sciences, Emergency Services, Family Maternity Suites, Regional Cancer Center, Regional Burn Center and Orthopaedic Institute. Memorial's Koke Mill Medical Center on the city's west side offers a full spectrum of medical services.
Memorial Medical Center is an affiliate of Memorial Health System. It was founded in 1897 as the Springfield Hospital and Training School.[3] Today, it is one of two major hospitals in Springfield alongside St. John's Hospital.
