User:The Earwig/Userboxes Hi! I'm The Earwig, an admin and Bot Approvals Group member here on the English Wikipedia. I've edited a bit as an IP since 2006, had an account since July 3, 2008, and I've been an admin since October 18, 2009. My work here generally involves a combination of Articles for creation reviewing, gnoming, and handling bot approval requests. I run my own bot, EarwigBot, and I've created a wide variety of stubs and some higher-class articles about earwigs and other biology topics. My interests include science, software development, and video games. I've always been fascinated by genetics and entomology, especially Dermaptera – hence my name.

This is my main account. The Earwig (alternate) is an account I use on public locations if I am worried about security, but don't expect it to edit much. This is also a global account, so I edit some of Wikimedia's other projects (see matrix). While I will occasionally make edits from these, the English Wikipedia is where I am, by far, most active. I am also The Earwig on the English Wikipedia Internal Account Creation Interface. I can usually be found on various IRC channels with the handle Earwig or some other variation (my cloak is wikipedia/The-Earwig). I frequent ##earwig connect, #wikipedia-en-afc connect, #wikipedia-bag connect, and #wikipedia-en-help connect especially.

Feel free to ask me anything on my talk page.
