Many of the links in the Filmography section lead to entries that are not in any way the film in the list. This needs to be cleaned up. Cfrydj 15:33, 20 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ban From Wearing White Shirt

Though funny, he was once banned from wearing white shirt over black trousers. Anybody have more info on it? Anuandraj (talk) 19:58, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

According to news reports, the mayor of Bombay issued an appeal against him wearing black suits in public because one fan fainted and fell off a balcony to catch a glimpse of him in the meelee. Fireblazex3 (talk) 08:40, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

P.O.V.

Wow, this... whole article is written in a deeply biased tone. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Commando303 (talkcontribs) 04:21, 6 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Agreed, and more than two and a half years later! - Zachstanley (talk) 01:52, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hare Raama Hare Krishna

This movie is avaialable in wiki pages but there is no direct link from this page. Further more the spelling of Rama should instead be Raama (following usual conventions). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.200.95.130 (talk) 19:25, 28 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

No, Spelling for Rama is correct. No transliteration follows Rama as Raama, nor the movie title was written with a double a in any certification forms. Vivek Talk!! 00:30, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling of the movie name is correct. [1][2] Anuandraj (talk) 20:20, 10 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Picture?

On the 13th of July, I remember there was a picture here, although the caption was incorrect. Anyone know what happened to it? Fireblazex3 (talk) 11:23, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Death

He died in London on Saturday, i.e. 3rd December 2011 and not 4th December when we heard the news in India. Have made the necessary changes. However if someone would again change the date of his death, it would amount to vandalism. DebashisM (talk) 04:08, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mr. Mishra, (who had edited without bothering to see this edit note) Kindly read the more reputed dailies rather than the articles on other websites... Even in the reference, accrding to PTI, Dev Anand died on 'Saturday Night' (HT) and 'last night' (TOI).

I'll have to revert your edits now...

And when it may have turned 4th December here in India, it still was 3rd in London.

My dear young friend, kindly read before you act! (I may be new to Wikipedia, but I do know how to read and what to read - my profession demands such levels of commitment). DebashisM (talk) 11:46, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dev Anand has been an iconic figure for millions lasting several generations specially in India, the land where he was born, grew up and became famous. I watched several of his movies with great appreciation and here I would mention just DES PARDES! I think he deserves a great funeral for which India is the right place. I therefore request his family members to please consider my point. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 41.222.100.123 (talk) 02:16, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Religion

This Line "Dev Anand was also found in a few crusades of christian preaching with Benny Hinn where he confessed and embraced Jesus Christ as a savior of his life. After which christian ethics and characters were also seen in his further films.click hereto see the video. "

I may be new at this but I'm pretty sure that above line makes no sense at all and I could not find a resource that verified that Dev Anand was a born again christian , he attended a Benny Hinn show out of respect to some of his family who are born again Christians and followers of Benny Hinn.

Telegraph India - Dev Anand religion - check last para — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rohanravinder (talkcontribs) 11:06, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dev Anand was a hindi through out his life but was secular by nature. Kalpana his wife had some connection with Christians but thats of no releavance to article on Dev. That line mentioned is not needed.Onceshook1 (talk) 13:11, 5 December 2011 (UTC) Yeah, he was a Hindu, only his wife Kalpana Kartik is a Christian. So I don't see the relevance of that line. There are reports of him being cremated according to Christian rites though. Lynch7 08:30, 15 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've deleted the comments. I missed that you stated that he was cremated. Yes, he was cremated and his funeral was held at a small chapel in London. Could this mean that he was a Christian, and if so, then which denomination? Joyson Prabhu Holla at me! 10:42, 17 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
