John Hackett is a British flautist, the younger brother of guitarist Steve Hackett.[1] Although his primary instrument is the flute, he also plays guitar, bass and keyboards. John comes from both classical and rock backgrounds and has played with ensembles such as The English Flute Quartet and the Westminster Camerata, as well as appearing on albums and touring with his brother, Steve Hackett. He is also a member of the ambient music trio, Symbiosis.
