Government performance reports are designed to show nonfinancial aspects of government operations. For example, a government financial report might include the number of arrests, number of convictions by crime category as well as the change (i.e., increase or decrease) in crime rate. Government performance reports usually provide data on environmental conditions, education and conditions of streets and roads.
