Daniels is a census-designated place located in Raleigh County, West Virginia. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 1,846.

Daniels is located at 37°44'23" North, 81°7'29" West (37.739752, -81.124609)Template:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 12.1 km² (4.7 mi²). 12.1 km² (4.7 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there were 1,846 people, 818 households, and 525 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 152.6/km² (395.0/mi²). There were 913 housing units at an average density of 75.5/km² (195.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 97.72% White, 1.08% African American, 0.22% Native American, 0.60% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.16% from other races, and 0.22% from two or more races. 0.43% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 818 households out of which 23.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.3% were married couples living together, 8.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.7% were non-families. 32.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 19.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.17 and the average family size was 2.70.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 18.9% under the age of 18, 7.5% from 18 to 24, 25.4% from 25 to 44, 23.6% from 45 to 64, and 24.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 43 years. For every 100 females there were 82.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 76.4 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $27,955, and the median income for a family was $40,125. Males had a median income of $29,519 versus $20,000 for females.
