Dralexiades

{please help me} Dear Stardust,

Thank you for your offer to help with my user page Dralexiades. How do biographies and pages on items of interest, such as groundbreaking research or patented products, get posted on wiki. I was ill informed that indeed one could generate a wiki page on their own work (which apparently is not true as it is a conflict of interest) and I noticed physicians who have wiki pages as biographies, which undoubtedly was initiated by them. How is this possible? In the meantime, what do I do with my test page?

Thank you again for any advice you can provide! Dr A

A pie for you!

You were the first to welcome me into the Wikipedia community, and I never gave much appreciation other than "Thanks, Stardust." Now, a looong time after (what, a year? I should check), I'm thanking you again, and I see that you're semi-retired. =/

Well, thanks anyway!

Survey

Hi Strdst grl!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! Seeking your guidance

I apologize for bothering you but am seeking guidance about a page that was supported through an edit by you on this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Nicole_van_Dam - the underlying article is now up for deletion - I wanted you to know because I've worked so hard to keep it up to date, and would be sad to see it deleted. I'm willing to make changes to save it, and since this started (Dec 28) I've added more links and cites to bolster the page, but the situation seems to remain and I am not sure how best to resolve it other than by continuing to add more cites. Should I just sit and wait now? Any insights (critical or supportive) would be appreciated, as I would like to do this correctly. See Nicole van Dam, THANK YOU! for any advice you might have.
