Finale Emilia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Modena in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 35 km north of Bologna and about 35 km northeast of Modena. As of 31 December 2010, it had a population of 16,072 and an area of 104.7 km².[3]

The municipality of Finale Emilia contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Massa Finalese and Canaletto.

Finale Emilia borders the following municipalities: Bondeno, Camposanto, Cento, Crevalcore, Mirandola, San Felice sul Panaro.
