wooden tone

The article is wooden in tone and not very insightful...as if the KGB had to review it. Can someone breath some life into it? 70.35.232.123 (talkcontribs) 19:30, 2 November 2006.

personal information

Its too bad the information on her personal life doesn't seem to be available. Did she marry, does she have kids, etc? Does she have a daughter that can belt out the tunes as well as her? 66.60.137.134 (talk) 16:54, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is (some) information. And if you want to clarify it or add to it... Pdfpdf (talk) 05:43, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There isn't much info on Ann's personal life in that regard. I read somewhere that she never married and has no children though. Too bad because it would be awesome to see another Ann Wilson. --RobertGary1 (talk) 18:49, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

She never married but did adopt a daughter and a son in the early 90s. I don't have the exact reference but it was shown in a "Behind the Music" episode on VH1 about 5 or 6 years ago.75.137.161.190 (talk) 22:17, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

surgery

iirc she had her gastric band surgery thing shown on the web so all her fans could watch. a noteworthy thing to add, unique and interesting 98.232.185.220 (talk) 04:44, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think your memory may be confusing her with Carnie Wilson who had a gastric bypass in 1999, and http://www.gastric-bypass-guru.com/celebrity-gastric-bypass.html says: "Her surgery was broadcast live on the Internet".
The same page, and other pages, say Ann is/was "a paid spokesperson for Spotlight Health", who paid for her operation.
e.g. CBS 48 Hours (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/11/26/48hours/main530882.shtml)
"Ann's surgery was paid for by Spotlight Health, a marketing company that hired her to bring attention to the lap band. She knows that some will question how honest she can be about her experience."
I haven't yet found anything about Ann's surgery being broadcast on the web.
