Electric Picnic is an Irish music festival which is staged every year (from 2005 on) in Stradbally Hall, Co. Laois. Each year it is organised by Aiken promotions, and is often seen as the country's more relaxed alternative to the OXEGEN festival.

2006s event is due to take place September 1 - September 3 2006. Artists announced include New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Basement Jaxx, Rufus Wainwright, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Groove Armada, Damien Rice and The Frames.
