Daniel Ortiz (Paintball Player)

Just wanted to clarify the guys name. In the page title he is "Daniel Ortiz", but on the page he is called "Daniel Oriz Mora". Should Or-iz be Or-t-iz. ie. "Daniel Ortiz Mora"? Regards, 220 of Borg 03:24, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Also, even if the page is moved, it will still be an orphan. Redirects do not count toward the "incoming links" to an article. About the Daniel Ortiz (Mora) article

Please explain here what you're trying to do with the article that's currently titled Daniel Ortiz (paintball player).

  • Are you trying to move it to a new title?
  • Are you trying to get it to not be tagged as an orphan?
  • Are you trying to create two articles about the same subject?

It's no longer clear what you're trying to do. Please explain here what you're trying to do so we can help. The correct question is

  • Are you trying to get it to not be tagged as an orphan?

The article is tagged as an orphan because no other articles link to it. If there were an article on the South American Paintball Circuit and it linked to this article, then this article would no longer be an orphan.
Creating redirects or duplicate versions of the article do not cause it to cease to be an orphan. —C.Fred (talk) 04:30, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Paintball article have a link to the article of Daniel Ortiz, I really don't know why it is marked like orphan article...

It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Daniel Ortiz (paintball player), without resolving the problem that the template refers to, may be considered disruptive editing. This is my account, that account isn't mine, please delete this article en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Ortiz_(paintball_player) it is a duplicate, the original is en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Ortiz_(Paintball_Player)

Actually, the original was Daniel Ortiz (paintball player). You incorrectly copied it to Daniel Ortiz (Paintball Player). Which means there will now likely be another template—a requested move—added to the rest at the top of the article. —C.Fred (talk) 15:49, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fred one question, when I search in google "Daniel Ortiz paintball player" still appear the page that I ask for eliminate, the page never delete completely?
